Random Coincidence Rates with Unsteady Sources

Abstract
The random coincidence rate between two sets of pulses can be measured by delaying one of the sets through a time greater than twice the resolving time of the coincidence detector, thus destroying all true coincidences. A circuit using this principle for supervising the random rate continuously is described.Keywords
