Abstract
Triploid hybrid plants were obtained by crossing S. faberii with S. italica and F2 of (S. italica × S. viridis) × S. faberii. Descriptions of the F1 plants are given. Cytological studies revealed a constant association of nine bivalents and nine univalents for both hybrid plants, indicating that S. italica and S. viridis have genom A and that S. faberii has genoms A and B. Sterility in the hybrid plants was very high. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
