Abstract
Transport and magnetic properties of CexLa1-xAu2 (02 are measured between 1.6 K and 280 K. No Kondo-like behaviour is observed in the former. In both systems, the observed resistivity is understood by crystal-field-splitting scattering. The nature of the phase transitions at low temperature is discussed. Keywords
