Abstract
A patient is presented with a painful, tender, tumefaction in the right frontal area which proved to be an osteolytic syphilitic lesion. The patient had apparently had syphilis for less than a year. A Herxheimer reaction followed initiation of penicillin treatment which caused prompt relief of headache and tenderness of the skull. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
