Boiling Range Distribution of Petroleum with a Short Capillary Column

Abstract

Simulated distillation of crude petroleums by gas chromatography, utilizing a short capillary column coated with OV-101, has resulted in boiling point distributions which compare excellently with True Boiling Point curves obtained by conventional distillation.
