Abstract
The turbulent fluxes of momentum, sensible heat and latent heat associated with a cold frontal passage of October 8, 1972 over Lake Ontario are examined. There are marked increases in the momentum and moisture fluxes after the frontal passage but the effects on the sensible heat flux are more complicated. The effects on the lake surface temperature are discussed. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
