Observations are reported of enhanced backscattering in laser light reflected by a plane mirror placed close behind rigid diffusers. Measurements of both coherent and incoherent effects are achieved by a suitable choice of diffuser and scattering geometry, and comparisons are made with theoretical predictions. Keywords
