Abstract
Trypticase soy agar supplemented with sucrose, sodium chloride, bile salts, and triphenyltetrazolium chloride is an improved plating medium for the isolation of Vibrio parahaemolyticus from samples of seawater, permitting better differentiation of this organism from Vibrio alginolyticus and other bacteria.Keywords
