Photoluminescence Spectra of Eu3+-Doped Certain Powder Phosphors

Abstract
The fluorescence properties of Eu3+-doped CaS, LaOCl, LaOF, YOCl and YOF powder phosphors are reported. These phosphors exhibited a reddish orange colour when excited in the UV. The photoluminescence spectra have been characterized by determining their stimulated emission cross-section values.Keywords
