Abstract
An analysis of the conditions for an isotropic g-tensor in high-spin d5 systems results in six cases: four cases yield an isotropic g-factor of 30/7 and two cases an isotropic g-factor of 10/3. The relationships between the spin-hamiltonian parameters needed to satisfy the six cases are given. Keywords
