Disease Screening with Enzyme-labeled Antibodies

Abstract
One hundred sixty-four swine sera were screened for antibodies to hog cholera by use of an indirect enzyme-labeled antibody technique. In 163 cases the results agreed with those obtained with the serum neutralization test. There was one apparent false positive by enzyme-labeled antibody. The enzyme-labeled antibody screening procedure is rapid, inexpensive, simple to perform, and should be applicable to other animal and human diseases.
