Abstract
Polarization studies are made of the various fluorescent lines from the excited 85Rb2(C) state or the 87Rb2(C) state populated by the 4765 or the 4880 Å Ar ion laser lines. We conclude that the previous hypothesis that all these fluorescent lines are Q branches is incorrect. Keywords
