Abstract
Cell lines of medulloblastoma, retinoblastoma and neuroblastoma, 3 childhood tumors derived from neuroectoderm, were compared for their neuronal properties. Neuroblastoma, a neural crest derivative, expressed specific neuronal enzymes and the action potential Na ionophore. Cell lines of medulloblastoma and retinoblastoma also express neuronal specific enzymes and therefore are considered to be of neuroblastic origin. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
