Abstract
An analysis of the spin‐Hamiltonian parameters of dipositive Es (Es III) in cubic sites in CaF2 has shown that for this ion, the ratio of crystalline field parameters ; the orbital reduction factor ; and the value of the nuclear moment of 253Es is nm, where the sign is obtained from the consideration of nuclear systematics.
