Abstract
An approach for designing a broadband coplanar waveguide (CPW) to slotline transition is presented. A slotline hollow patch creates open circuit conditions on one arm of the CPW and resonates the transition so that maximum power transfer may occur. Excellent performance is observed over a 5:1 bandwidth. Keywords
