Case 34232

Abstract
Presentation of CaseA fifteen-year-old boy entered the hospital because of a mass in the left calf.Five years prior to admission without antecedent trauma he noted the gradual onset of pain on the medial side of the left calf. It occurred only during exercise, was not severe and did not limit his activities in any way. Approximately three years before admission he noted a lump in this area, which was tender to touch. No particular motion caused pain, and there were no paresthesias. He noted that the heel of the right shoe wore out more quickly than the left. . . .
