Abstract
SUMMARY: Studies of the in-vivo biosynthesis of thyroglobulin in rats on a low iodine diet have been extended to produce more severe degrees of goitre formation. In this situation the protein in the thyroglobulin region did not become less than 18S and both 125I and [3H]leucine were rapidly incorporated into this protein. These results confirm and extend previous observations. Keywords
