Abstract
General features for the scattering of fermions (neutrons) from parity-violating potentials are discussed. A bound for the rotatory power Φ is derived. A simple model is solved exactly and the parity violation is evaluated at threshold and at energies corresponding to S12 and P12 resonances. Experimental consequences of this model are explored. Large enhancements of the rotatory power Φ are found at resonance. Keywords
