Abstract
Exactly what is human intelligence and how should we measure it? Such questions have plagued us since the time of Plato, who first proposed that the seat of intelligence is in the brain. In a Perspective, Sternberg discusses new findings ( Duncan et al.) that purport to show that the seat of general intelligence is located in the brain9s frontal lobes. But, as Sternberg points out, measures of intelligence are only as good as the tests you use and the conclusions that you draw from them. Keywords
