Abstract
Geothermal gradients in the Great Artesian Basin have been calculated from data obtained during geophysical logging of water bores. The values obtained range from 15.4° C/km to 102.6°C/km and have a mean of 48° C/km. 75 percent of these values exceed the world representative average value of 33° C/km.Keywords
