Abstract
A small-scale study of the activity of hoisting was conducted using task analysis. Two mobile hoists were used and the task analysed was specified as: ‘To lift a subject from a lying position on a divan bed into a commode chair with the use of a mobile mechanical hoist and appropriate sling.’Keywords
