Abstract
The methods used in the United Kingdom to predict the airborne spread of foot-and-mouth disease and Newcastle disease are described in this paper. A brief description of both diseases and of the importance of their control is given first. Developments leading to the present methods of prediction are also described. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
