Abstract
This paper demonstrates that when the direction of the magnetic field in a saturated ferrite is inverted, spin waves occur which have an aperiodic exponential growth. The fastest growing of these waves have the time factor exp(ΩMt/2) and their wave vector is oriented at right angles to the magnetic field. The significance of these waves for ferrite switching and microwave pulse generation is discussed briefly. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
