Abstract
An atmospheric pressure ionization source has been designed and evaluated which adapts well to a commercial Finnigan-MAT 4000 series quadrupole mass spectrometer. Gas phase sensitivity of less than 40 pptr dimethylmethylphosphonate was achieved using an exponential dilution flask. Keywords
