Abstract
Continuous noninvasive automatic blood pressure recording is a useful clinical tool for evaluating certain patients with arterial hypertension. Dr Messerli presents the results of his clinical experience with a 24-hour recording device at the Ochsner Clinic, New Orleans, and provides insight into what he feels are its advantages and disadvantages in monitoring patients with blood pressure disorders. Keywords
