Abstract
The capacity of a soil to sorb or bind Pb+2 may be determined by titrating the soil with a PbCl2 solution. The addition of Pb to the soil results in a shift in pH. The sorption capacity corresponds to the point of maximum curvature in the tritration curve. Sorption capacities obtained in this manner are highly correlated with plant uptake. Keywords
