Abstract
We teachers are in large measure responsible for problem-solving being the obstacle that it is to many a pupil in elementary schools. In the first place, we toss the terms “problem” and “problem-sol ving” about quite indiscriminately. We seem to have no clear and definite concepts for tho e terms in our own minds. Keywords
