Evaporation From a Capillary Tube

Abstract
The heat transfer characteristics of an evaporating ethanol meniscus formed at the exit of a glass capillary tube were studied experimentally. The meniscus profile was photographed and was found to be a function of the evaporation rate and the initial hydrostatic head. The meniscus was found to be stable over a wide range of evaporation rates.Keywords
