Induction of Remission in Myeloblastic and Monoblastic Leukaemia in Adults with Rubidomycin

Abstract
20 adults with acute myeloblastic, monomyeloblastic or monoblastic leukaemia have been treated with Rubidomycin. 6 Patients achieved complete remission and 2 partial remission. Smaller dosages of Rubidomycin were used than in previous series and there was a lower incidence of irreversible marrow hypoplasia. Myocardial toxicity was found to be much commoner in the older patients.
