Primary Carcinoma of the Ureteral Stump: A Case Report and a Review of the Literature

Abstract
A case is reported of primary carcinoma of the ureteral stump with metastases following nephrectomy for benign disease. The occurrence of disseminated tumor at the time of diagnosis is uncommon, having been reported in only 3 previous cases. The autopsy findings are discussed and the literature is reviewed.Keywords
