Abstract
Pack cementation remains a widely used technique for producing high-temperature protective coatings for gas turbine components. The main limitations and advantages of pack cementation processes are reviewed in relation to coating formation mechanisms. Examples are given of modified coatings with improved environmental resistance. MST/281Keywords
