Abstract
A procedure to test whether a given two-variable polynomial is a discrete scattering Hurwitz polynomial is described. In this procedure, Schur-Cohn matrices associated with the given polynomial are used to test the set of necessary and sufficient conditions established by S. Basu and A. Fettweis (Circuits, Syst., Signal Processing, vol.3, no.2, p.225-42, 1984). The procedure is illustrated by examples. Keywords
