Abstract
The radial electron-nuclear and electron-electron distribution functions, D0(r) and P0(r12), of the bicentric potential in terms of Legendre functions Hylleraas type wavefunctions describing the 1S ground states of He and He-like ions. Expectation values of several one and two electron operators, including the one and two electron contributions to the potential energy, are very easily evaluated in terms of these distributions.Keywords
