The homes of Octopus vulgaris in shallow Mediterranean water were found and marked by divers using SCUBA; hourly inspection by day and night was maintained for eleven days. It was shown’ that O. vulgaris in this habitat generally hunts throughout the night, with only short excursions from the hole by day. Keywords
