Abstract
Problems concerning insufficient information provided for a function inside its analytic domain have been examined in detail in a simplified statistical model of Cutkosky. The solution is in general closely related to a very simple integral equation. With a finite number of input data, it reduces to an algebraic equation and is readily solved in closed analytic form. Successive iterations and "optimal geometry" dealing with optimal distribution of input data are also discussed. Keywords
