Abstract
4-Hydroxymethyl-1(2H)-phthalazinone derivatives were synthesized and assayed for their inhibitory effects on platelet aggregation and edematous arterial reaction in rabbits. Among the tested compounds, 7-ethoxycarbonyl-4-hydroxymethyl-1(2H)-phthalazinone showed the highest potency in these pharmacological tests.
