Abstract
The addition of 1%, 2% and 4% of choline to standard starter rations for growing chicks reduced the rate of gain by 12%, 13.8% and 23.8% for the respective levels. Carcasses of chickens fed the 4% level of choline had considerably less subcutaneous, abdominal and mesenteric fat than those fed 1% and 2%.Keywords
