Abstract
An empirical study focusing on unequal power groups role-playing the Change of Work Procedure Problem. Using the valence coding system the results show that an assigned majority rule facilitates more task conflict than in groups assigned a unanimous rule or no decision rule. Majority rule operates as a power equalizer. Keywords
