Abstract
An overview is provided of some of the more important resonator utilization and associated circuit-design considerations involved in the generation of low-noise microwave signals. Signal spectral relationships in acoustic resonator-controlled oscillators are considered. Possible methods for providing additional signal short-term stability improvements are discussed.<>Keywords
