Abstract
Long-term exposure of guinea pigs to a diet rich in maize oil caused an increase in adipose-tissue lipoprotein lipase activity. A similar diet rich in beef tallow had no such effect, and neither diet affected the enzyme activity in heart, lung, diaphragm or skeletal muscle.This publication has 21 references indexed in Scilit:
