Abstract
The rhesus monkey''s visual cortex was studied on Golgi material. The terminal arborization of the geniculate fibers and non-specific vertical fibers were analyzed. The interneurons (intrinsic neurons) of the area were described in detail and classified on the basis of their axonal and dendritic arborizations. The stellate neurons in layer IV are discussed. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
