Abstract
Summary Core flush in apples was markedly reduced when fruit were exposed to phorone vapours (0·25–1·0 g per 25 fruit) during storage. Gibberellic acid gave some reduction of the disorder when applied as a dip (10–3000 ppm) or injection (0·015–40 μmole per fruit) but it was less effective than phorone. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
