Abstract
In addition to their recognized aesthetic value, the natural biota play major roles in the maintenance of our environment. Microorganisms and insects are often ignored in considerations of human impact upon the environment; it is imperative that all components of natural biota be fully considered in formulation of environmental policies.Keywords
