Abstract
One hundred thirty-eight fine needle aspirations (FNA) of neck masses were performed during a four-year period (1979-1982). The pre-existing literature was reviewed. An accuracy rate of 85% in FNA of neck masses was found, and a 100% accuracy rate in cases of benign tumors of the neck and developmental cysts of the neck was found. Keywords
