Abstract

Monofluoramine H₂NF is prepared by thermolysis of H₃NF⁺HF2^--nHF and selective absorption of HF on activated KF. In the solid state H₂NF is stable below 170 K, and immediately decomposes in NH₄HF₂ ^- and N₂ by melting.
