Size Effect in Ionic Charge Relaxation following Auger Effect

Abstract
The endpoint of ionic charge relaxation following an Auger cascade in rutile fluorides is empirically related to the size of the impurity ion relative to that of the lattice site. Possible mechanisms for defect stabilization are discussed.Keywords
