Abstract
‘Shear‐constraints’ can be used to produce efficient Mindlin/Reissner or ‘discrete Kirchhoff’ bending elements. The paper shows that ‘selective shear‐constraints’ can be used to produce an effective formulation for folded‐plated structures.Keywords
