Abstract
Three mycosterols accompanying ergosterol in ergot were isolated, for one of which Tanret''s name fungisterol was retained. Their vitamin D activity after irradiation was only sufficient to account for the small amount of ergosterol present as impurity; the results confirm previous evidence regarding the unique relation of ergosterol to vitamin D.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
