Abstract
Now being widely accepted, “colonoscopic surgery” is obviating the need for laparotomy in the excision of many polyps. Hemorrhage, perforation, and other complications can be virtually eliminated, but only if the operator is highly skilled and the patient meticulously prepared. The removal of some 2,800 polyps provides the experience for this summary of methods offering maximum effectiveness. Keywords
