Abstract
Developing in parallel with applications in other branches of electrical engineering, sensor and transducer uses of amorphous magnetic alloys show promise of future growth, and are already moving into initial commercial production. The magnetic, electrical and mechanical properties of these materials can be exploited in force and strain gauges, in specialised sensors and to improve the performance of soft-magnetic transducers, such as magnetic pickup and recording headsKeywords
